I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with a private practice in West Dublin. I offer psychotherapy for adults as well as clinical supervision for other psychologists and psychotherapists.
I trained as a clinical psychologist through UCD (University College Dublin) and as a psychotherapist through ICCP (Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dunlaoghaire). I am a Registered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and a member of the Clinical Division of the Society. I am also an accredited psychotherapist with IAHIP (the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy). I have also trained as a Supervisor through PCI College, Dublin, and am an accredited supervisor with IAHIP.
I have over twenty years' experience working with clients in various settings (the public health service, the prison service, community and hospital psychiatric services) and in my private practice. My specialist interest is therapeutic work with adults. I engage in supervision, research, teaching and writing in relation to psychotherapy work but the core of my practice is sitting and working with individual clients. I find witnessing, exploring and jointly working through clients' difficulties to be deeply meaningful and rewarding work.
